Working as part of a large team, we delivered a multi-million pound hosted browser-based payroll and HR solution. The application is delivered in Internet Explorer, and is developed using VB6 and C# middle-tier components with a SQL Server 2000 database.

Working as part of a large team we produced a highly profitable HR solution for the US market. The application used MS Access as a front-end to either an Oracle or Centura database.
Transport scheduling project

This application enabled people working in separate departments to: ~ request transportation; ~ efficiently schedule vehicles and employees; ~ assign costs to individual jobs; ~ further break the costs down to be assigned to GL codes; and, ~ provide utilisation statistics that could be used to compare the usage different vehicles in the fleet. It was a bespoke application, designed, prototyped and implemented with cooperation between Aramat, the users and the project sponsors (the Directors).

This application tracked the location, details and storage costs of antiques transported and stored after sales in a London auction room. The application calculated costs and produced invoices.
Business training tracking

Management accounts package

This application took data from the college accounts package and aggregated it into various cost centres and cost types, before generating a report for each department head which was emailed to them on a monthly basis.
Water demand analyser

This application took data obtained from water meters via a telemetry system, and aggregated it into districts and regions to give demand values for these areas.
Power and chemicals budgeting tool

This application facilitated a 'bottom-up' budgeting approach, which allowed the local managers to enter their budgeted costs for electricity and chemicals into an easy-to-use spreadsheet. These spreadsheets were then consolidated into district totals and then into an overall regional total.
Power and chemicals variance tool

This application allowed the user to enter the actual costs for electricty and chemicals. The variance against budget was calculated and then output to a series of spreadsheets for transmission to the managers responsible for the assets. The spreadsheets were also 'photographed' by a third-party application and turned into images for viewing on the company intranet.

This application was a simple mechanism for several sources of data to be compiled into a single word document as an automated process. The Asset Plan could then be easily navigated, viewed and printed by a large number of people in the organisation.

This application was migrated from an Access database to a SQL Server database. It stored requests for asset downtime, and displayed these requests in the form of a Gantt chart.

Back-pay and holiday pay calculator

This tool took a text file feed from an AS400 application, worked out the weighted average earnings for the previous 13 weeks, before applying a back-dated wage increase to the past earnings.

CSV Converter for mail merge

This tool takes a comma separated variable (CSV) file that has been downloaded from an eCommerce site and converts it into a format ready for mail merging. The mail merge creates invoices for clients that have bought products from the site.
Photograph management and upload tool

This tool allows a user to input details about a school photographic sitting - child, class and school details for example. A unique reference and password is then generated and printed, along with the image, onto a leaflet for the child to take home. Overnight, the image is watermarked and uploaded to an eCommerce site along with the associated data. The child's family can then use the reference and password to view and buy online.

This application allows the company to load their clients' prospect data into a database and work on it - list cleaning, list warming, mail merging etc.
It has been created using a browser-based UI, so that the clients can also access (and work on) the data themselves (via a login).

Working from a set of HTML templates, we created this site using ASP.Net and SQL Server. The site is fully configurable by using an integrated CMS which allows the content to be uploaded and the content of the various section home pages to be managed.
